The Delaware Readiness Teams are a statewide initiative of volunteer-based teams that strengthen communities at local levels and help children from birth through age eight get ready for school and life.

Located in all three counties throughout the state, the 19 teams respond to the unique needs of its community and focus on three key areas: early learning, healthy children, and successful transitions.

As an initiative of Rodel, the Delaware Readiness Teams have launched the first ever kindergarten registration information campaign, regularly engaged 500 volunteers, and influenced data and policy with the Department of Education and other state agencies.

In addition to being a strategic co-investor, Rodel also provides strategic and administrative support to the Delaware Readiness Teams.
