Jordan Ashby

Program Specialist

Jordan Ashby is a dedicated educator and youth development professional with a career rooted in service, leadership, and community engagement. A graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a concentration in Biology, Jordan began his professional journey with the Delaware 4-H Program as a New Castle County Extension Agent. In this role, he championed Science, Engineering, and Technology (SET) programming across the state, cultivated a strong network of volunteers, secured grant funding, and earned recognition at the local, state, and national levels for innovative initiatives. Jordan also led international exchange programs for 4-H youth and remains an engaged supporter of the 4-H efforts at the Delaware State Fair.

Transitioning into Catholic education, Jordan spent two years at St. Mary Magdalen School and then the past 13 years shaping young minds at St. Elizabeth School, his alma mater. His roles spanned classroom instruction in Theology and Science, administrative leadership as Dean of Student Life, and athletic support as Assistant Athletic Director. Jordan’s commitment to holistic student development extended to coaching both boys’ and girls’ varsity soccer and, more recently, the swim team. One of Jordan’s most fulfilling endeavors while at St. E’s was moderating the Vikings In Action program, which empowers students through community awareness, leadership, service learning, and measurable impact. Guided by the Benedictine values upon which St. Elizabeth was founded, Jordan approaches every decision with a student-first mindset, fostering meaningful relationships with students, families, colleagues, and the broader community.

With a lifelong passion for education and youth programming, Jordan continues to inspire and lead with the belief that investing in young people is investing in the future and looks to partner that enthusiasm into his role at Rodel.
