Nicole Kennedy
Research Specialist
Nicole is a native Delawarean and graduate of the Master of Public Administration program at the University of Delaware’s Joseph R. Biden School. In her current role as a research associate, Nicole uses data analysis and visualization to influence equitable policy in the education space. For a number of years, Nicole has worked as a Research Assistant with the University of Delaware’s Center for Research in Education and Social Policy (CRESP) conducting rigorous program evaluation. She was involved in a nation-wide study of the long-term impacts and cost-effectiveness of literacy interventions for struggling readers and has worked with a national funder of innovation in community-centered education as part of a research practice partnership. Nicole also has experience working as a Capitol Hill intern in the office of the Honorable Christopher A. Coons and with various Delaware based nonprofits serving youth, including West End Neighborhood House, Neighborhood House Inc., the Delaware Center for Justice, and the YMCA of Delaware. In addition to her MPA, Nicole holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts, also from the University of Delaware, in public policy and Spanish studies.
