The students of Lullaby Learning Center recently learned the duties and importance of community workers. The themed curriculum, written and implemented by the Lullaby teachers, gave students a hands-on opportunity to learn about the people who create and keep the community safe and functioning.

Johnny Means established the Urban Chess Initiative, where he donates his time and skills to teaching other kids his favorite game. “Our big goal is really just to expose kids to the game of chess,” he said.
