 Rodel Foundation of Delaware

Administrative and Program Assistant
Through effective execution of wide-ranging and multi-faceted administrative duties, this position supports the President & CEO and the Program Team at the Rodel Foundation of  Delaware. Delaware Department of Education

  • Director, Accountability: As Director of the Accountability Office, the core of your work is to lead the development of a comprehensive Accountability Framework that incorporates stakeholder feedback and reflects a clearly outlined set of expectations, metrics, and outcomes. You and your team will also support the work of our turnaround schools across the state, executing a clearly outlined process and theory of action for a portfolio of schools.   • Director, Data, Research, and Evaluation: The primary purpose of the Director of Data, Research, and Evaluation is to serve as a senior advisor in the development of a research and evaluation function for the department and LEAs. This position is responsible for developing training methods and materials to promote appropriate use of these data in reporting academic progress and program effectiveness. These modules could also be used for large group training. The Director will provide data for meetings with local superintendents and principals to discuss the data for their LEAs and schools and help identify priority areas for growth and improvement.   • Director; Talent Management, Leadership and Educator Effectiveness, Teacher and Leader Effectiveness Unit: This Director role within the Teacher & Leader Effectiveness Unit (TLEU) is designed to attract results-driven, motivated, detail-oriented individuals who are seeking to accelerate Delaware’s efforts to fully deliver on the statewide education agenda. The role would report directly to the Chief Officer of the TLEU and drive the continuous improvement of educator evaluation, professional development, and talent management and leadership systems statewide. More information and application instruction here.

 Delaware Office of Early Learning 

Director
The Director will be responsible for overseeing the State’s early learning work, including leading the ongoing implementation of the Early Learning Challenge, evaluating current early education initiatives, building support for sustainability, advising the Governor’s Office and the Secretary of the Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families (“Cabinet Secretary”) regarding progress and challenges, and helping to establish a consolidated early learning governance structure. More information and application instruction here.

Director
Successful candidates will have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Early Childhood, Social Work, Public Policy/Administration, or related field. Demonstrated five to seven years of successful large-scale management and leadership experience, preferably in early childhood education systems. Operations Manager, Schools
This position is responsible for supporting the school principal in managing all aspects of school operations. This work includes budget and finance, information technology support, human resource management, child nutrition management, transportation management, and facilities management.
