Honoring Beau Biden

We join many in mourning the loss of Beau Biden, a leader in our state, devoted family member, and good person. He was deeply committed to serving children, especially those in the most vulnerable situations. His work was admirable and greatly respected. Delaware lost a true community leader.

Several of our team members knew him personally, and he also will be remembered as humble and kind, with a spark in his eye that’s shared by the rest of the Biden family. Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time. For those wishing to make a contribution in memory of Beau, his widow Hallie, on behalf of the Biden family, encourages those to do so through the newly-created Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children. The foundation aims to continue his life passion: protecting the most vulnerable among us. It’s managed by the Delaware Community Foundation, of which we are a supporting organization.
