What We’re Thankful For
One of the best parts of our work at the Rodel Foundation of Delaware is to support and celebrate the outstanding contributions to public education in our state by our neighbors. Everyday, teachers, community leaders, parents, school board members, school support staff, policymakers, students, administrators, and more make a big difference in the lives of Delaware students.
We’ve had the privilege to learn these stories and help share them through our recognition initiative iEducate Delaware. We’re so thankful for these education champions–and know there are so many others. Among these Delawareans, we’ve been able to honor:
Sarah Preston, an Autism Support Teacher at the Bush Early Learning Center
Lori Roe, an instructional technology specialist who support teachers’ professional development
Tameca Beckett, a Youth Services Librarian at Laurel Public Library
Jacqueline Lee, Principal at Gallaher Elementary School who focuses on whole-child wellness
We’re incredible grateful for the contributions they’ve made to help Delaware students learn and achieve. And we know that there are so many others who are quietly transforming students’ live.
Please take a moment to thank education champions in your life (and even yourself!) by nominating them to be 2014-15 iEducate Delaware Honorees. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
