America Achieves Fellowship – Apply or Nominate a Colleague (Due Feb. 28). “Elevate your voice. Inspire action. Influence change.” The America Achieves Fellowship for Teachers and Principals (AAFTP) offers excellent educators an opportunity to be agents of change.

 

Professional Development for Teachers by Teachers

Personalized Learning Workshop: Connecting Innovative Educators (Feb. 27, Middletown). Hosted by the Rodel Teacher Council, the Personalized Learning Workshop will take place Saturday, Feb. 27, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m, at St. Georges High School in Middletown, DE. A workshop for teachers, by teachers, attendees will learn innovative strategies to personalize instruction and connect with others. Teachers can earn three professional development clock hours.

Edcamp Philly 2016 (Apr. 2, Philadelphia, PA). Edcamp is organic, participant driven professional development. At an Edcamp, the participants set the agenda and facilitate sessions on teaching and learning. Learn more about Edcamp and register online.

2016 Delaware Digital Learning Day Conference Online (Feb.16 to Feb. 18, Online). In conjunction with Digital Learning Day (Feb. 17), the DCET/DDOE is hosting a series of 12 webinars conducted over three days during the week of Digital Learning Day (Feb. 16 to Feb. 18). Professional development credit is available.

Digital Learning Day (Feb. 17, Online). Engage in Digital Learning Day—a nationwide celebration of great teaching practices and a showcase of innovative teachers, leaders, and instructional technology programs that are improving student outcomes.

Second Annual Pathways Conference (Feb. 23, Newark). The Second Annual Pathways Conference will take place Feb. 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Hear from national experts and join the conversation around work underway across the state to equip young Delawareans with the knowledge, skills, and experience to successfully transition to high-growth, high-demand occupations.
