New York Times Shoutout for Delaware Pathways

As we get ready to take a few days off to enjoy time with family and friends, I wanted to share a New York Times column that acknowledges some good work in Delaware that’s helping our young people navigate high school and a changing economy.

The career pathways work at William Penn High School, which clearly builds on the great work of  vocational schools, has taken off.  In Delaware, Pathways began with just 27 young people a few years ago and is now engaging more than 5,000 students in 10 pathways across 29 high schools.

This is an example of what this state can do when K-12, higher ed, business, and nonprofits work together on behalf of kids.
