Meet Valdese West

Hello! My name is Valdese West I am the co-investment associate at Rodel. I will be responsible for providing research on potential funders, managing the application processes for grant applications and coordinating reporting requirements. Prior to coming to Rodel, I worked as a mediation coordinator and facilitator at the Virginia Workers Compensation Commission. I graduated from Strayer University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Public Administration. I also have years of volunteer experience with Wilmington Head Start, Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay, NCC Habitat for Humanity and am interested in ensuring the accessibility and efficiency of educational programs.
