Registration is now open for the 2015 Annual Youth Leadership Summit.

The 2015 Youth Leadership Summit will be held April 25th at Middletown High School from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This interactive leadership and advocacy training will prepare students to become active and engaged PTSA leaders in their schools and communities. Students will hone their skills through a series of keynote speakers, workshops, and group projects. Participants will also develop leadership goals and strategies to achieve these goals. Support via ongoing youth involvement, trainings and online forums will continue throughout the school year to help ensure students’ success with their PTSAs.

The day will include panel discussions, key note speakers and insight from community leaders on topics such as:

Common Core
Smarter Balanced Assessments
College possibilities
Career choices
Conflict Resolution
Communication and much more

The cost to attend is only $10.00 and will cover the student’s lunch. This is a great leadership summit that you do not want to miss. REGISTER HERE

Who can attend?

  • Students who will be enrolled in middle school or high school during the 2014-2015 school year
  • Students with solid leadership and communication skills
  • Students willing to accept new challenges
  • Students who are interested in making positive changes in their school with the leverage of PTA

This event is open to all students statewide. Students—including those not affiliated with PTA or PTSA—can also register.*All attendees will receive a certificate of completion good for 8 volunteer hours*
